Asiwaju is Winning this Election – Yemi Alli

An APC Chieftain and Honourable Member representing Mushin Constituency 01, at the Federal House of Representatives, Honorable Adeyemi Alli, has said with confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC)Presidential candidate in the 2023 presidential election, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will win the presidential election that held throughout the Country on Saturday.
Hon Alli made this statement in his constituency office located at the Mushin area of Lagos, while fielding questions from Journalists who paid him a courtesy visit after he performed his civic responsibility on Saturday.
Attesting to the high intelligence and ruggedness of Asiwaju Tinubu, Hon. Alli said the reason for his optimism stems from the fact that Tinubu is a grassroot politician who understands the game and who has paid his dues over time.
Concerning the issue of the low turn out of voters (voter apathy) at different polling units throughout the state and the possible cause of it, Hon. Alli said he wasn’t sure if the cashless policy could have been a factor. In his words, the one time Chairman of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA said; “I wouldn’t know if it’s the cashless policy that affected the low turnout of electorates in today’s general elections. Even in my polling unit, we were less than 200 people compared to the last election.”
Taking about the conduct of the election, which he said was peaceful, Honorable Ali however limited himself to his polling unit which he described as “fantastic.”
“I am satisfied with the conduct of the elections by INEC in my area. My polling unit was perfect .”
“We went round sensitizing and educating citizens on the reasons why they should come out to vote since we have a candidate from Lagos state. I had about three thousand followers during the rally here in my constituency.We registered over 6million eligible voters in Lagos State and we intended bringing out 4million voters or more from our side,” he said.
Honorable Alli said he has sponsored many bills on the floor of the House and moved many motions unlike his predecessor in office.
According to him, “In the past,the Honourable I took over from did not move a motion, not to talk of a bill but I have done that severally. I sponsored many bills, promoted and moved many motions, that is in the aspect of law making.”
In term of infrastructural development and empowerment, Hon Ali said he has done more in the past four years.
According to him,”I have facilitated a 40 bed hospital, constructed two roads. one at Arikewuyo and the other at Fagbere ,executed school projects, Public Health Centers, renovated and built blocks of classrooms, done super empowerment programmes, etc.
Also recounting his past achievements as a council chairman, the Federal House of Representative aspirant who is also the Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Political Party Affairs in the House, said he constructed over 300 boreholes and is also the first council chief to approve the sum five thousand naira stipend for the elderly and many other projects.
Hon Alli rated him self Ten over Ten in his performance and promised to do more for his people.
