Eshilokun Sympathises with Lagos State Government, Victims and Families of Bus – Train Accident.

The Senator elect of Lagos Central Senatorial district, Rt Hon Wasiu Eshilokun Sanni has offered his sympathies to the Lagos State Government, all Lagos State Civil Servants and victims of the Ikeja bus – train accident that reportedly claimed the lives of six of the staff and injured many others.

Speaking on the sad incidence, Eshilokun prayed that God accept the souls of the dead and grant their families the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss; while wishing the injured speedy recovery. He noted that it is indeed an avoidable sad occurrence had the Bus driver been a bit patient.

It should be noted that an accident involving a moving train and a luxury staff bus conveying Civil Servants to the Lagos State Secretariat, Alausa, early in the morning of 9th March, 2023, had claimed many lives and injured several persons, all staff of the state government.

Rt. Hon. Eshilokun admonished drivers to always approach railway crossings with utmost caution to avoid incidences like this.
