Police Arrest Man Who Snatches Car at Gun Point. ….Recovered two vehicles

A 36 years old man,Dayo Jimoh was paraded by the Lagos State Police Command for snatching a car at gun point.
According to the statement released by the Lagos Police Public Relations Officer SP Benjamin Hundeyin,anipr, mipra, the suspect was said to have been arrested by the Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) along Ojodu-Berger Road, Lagos after he and two others at large hijacked two vehicles at gunpoint.
On Saturday,March 11 2023, an armed robbery gang operated at different locations within Lagos and the Police on getting the report sprang into action.
Unfortunately for one of the suspect, Dayo who after snatching a car at Oworo was arrested on his way to join other gang members.
Following the release by the Lagos PPRO,Dayo was arrested at about 0230hrs on Saturday shortly after his gang snatched a 2003 Toyota Corolla with registration number BDG-946-GZ. The suspects arrived in a 2005 Toyota Camry with registration number KRD-958-HS which they earlier snatched at gunpoint at Oworo, while disguising as passengers.
Two vehicles were recovered by the Police.
While investigation is ongoing, the owners of the vehicles which were recovered, are hereby urged to come forward with proof of ownership to claim their vehicles.
Meanwhile, Commander RRS have charged his men to intensify efforts to arrest the two fleeing suspects.
