Eshilokun Honoured By Yoruba Tennis Club.

Honour is given to whom it is due. This statement best describe the feelings at the Norman William’s Pavilion, on the evening of Tuesday, 9th May, 2023, when the Senator-Elect for Lagos Central Senatorial district, Rt Hon Wasiu Eshilokun Sanni, was honoured by the prestigious Yoruba Tennis Club, as represented by Bro. Chief Euzebio Babajide Damazio, ably supported by his Vice, Bro. Kunle Agbebi and the leader of the pavilion Tuesday Suya Group of the club, Bro. Alhaji Ganiyu Oladeji (Presy) and other eminent members of the club. (Note that club members use the prefix Bro before their names)
Bro. Rt Hon Wasiu Eshilokun Sanni was accompanied to the event by members of his campaign council, some of whom are also members of the club, like Bro. Hakeem Adeniji, Bro. Rosul Eshilokun, Bro. Kunle Kadiri and Bro. Wale Seriki. Others are Pastor Gbenga Oyebode, Hon. Kamaal Bashua, Hon. Rasak Lawal and Mr. Adeleye Adenekan.
At the evening of fun and accolades, the Vice chairman of the club expressed his joy and that of the club that one of them is the elected Senator for the district. He prayed that the Senator-Elect will continue to progress politically and in all spheres of human endeavour. According to him and the club slogan “May those who passed through the portal of Yoruba Tennis Club continue to prosper”.
In his speech, Rt Hon Eshilokun expressed appreciation to the club for hosting him. He also appreciated the President Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his wife, Senator Remi Tinubu, for nurturing him politically and supporting him to aspire for the position; while further appreciating his constituents for finding him worthy of their trust as shown in the mandate given to him, promising not to let them down.
