Amjon Members,Trained On Enhancing Capacity On Modern News Reportage.

The Association of Maritime Journalists of Nigeria,AMJON members were trained by stakeholders in the Maritime Industry in a capacity building workshop with the theme: ‘Enhancing Capacity/Efficiency on Modern News Reportage’.
The event was held on Thursday 25th of May,2023 at the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON), Topo, Badagry, Lagos State.

The Controller General of Custom,CGC Ahmeed Ali Rtd was duly represented at the event by CSC Abdullahi Maiwada, the National Public Relations Officer, Nigeria Customs Service.

According to the President of Amjon, Paul Ogbuokiri,  the workshop was designed to sharpen the reportorial skills of the journalists about the sector.

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA),Port Standing Tast Team(PSTT) made a robust presentation  on various topic at the event.
While the Coordinator, Port Standing Task Team,PSTT ,Mr Moses Fadipe received an award from AMJON.

The award was presented by CSC Abdullahi Maiwada, National Public Relations Officer, NCS.
Also present at the event is the General Manager, Legal, NIWA, Barrister Nasiru Biyankari.
