At the on going confirmation of the ministerial nominees of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on 4th August, 2023, Distiguished Senator Wasiu Eshilokun Sanni, representing Lagos Central sought the consideration of his colleagues to expeditiously confirm the nomination of Dr Moroof Olatunji Alausa as a Minister of the Federal Republic.

Senator Eshilokun tried to “invoke the spirit of reciprocity” to seek the support of other Senators to give Dr Alausa easy passage on the confirmation, noting that Dr Alausa enjoys the unflinching support of all the Senators from Lagos State.

He paid glowing tribute to the contributions of Dr Alausa in the development of proactive health care in Lagos State; as well as, his invaluable contribution towards developing a blueprint for the development of the health sector in Nigeria in the Renewed Hope agenda of Mr President.
