The suspects were taken into custody on April 9, 2026, after police acted on an anonymous tip about suspicious activities in the area.
Upon arrival, detectives uncovered one of the suspects in the act of trying to bury a blood stained body in a shallow grave, indicating a disturbing attempt to conceal the horrific crime.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim suffered a severe head injury, believed to have been inflicted with a wooden pestle. It is suspected that the other relatives conspired to carry out both the attack and the subsequent cover-up.
The murder weapon has been recovered, and the victim’s body has been transferred to the Life Channel Mortuary in Olambe for an autopsy.
