Court Remanded Three Suspects Over the Murder of Kitan Oyesiku and her Security Guard.

Three suspects arrested in connection with the murder of Madam Kitan Oyesiku and her security guard, Pelumi Adetayo, have been remanded in a correctional facility by a Magistrate Court sitting in Isabo, Abeokuta.
The suspects 22 years old Sodeinde Olajuwon Philip, 27 years old Abduraheem Sakirudeen, and 30 years old Sobur Obafunso were arraigned on Monday, July 6, 2026, before Magistrate Court 3, Isabo, over the killings, which occurred on June 20, 2026, at Agodo Village, Kobape, Abeokuta.
During the proceedings, the prosecution filed an ex parte motion seeking the remand of the defendants pending legal advice from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
The court granted the application and ordered that the three defendants be remanded in a correctional facility for 60 days while the DPP issues legal advice on the matter.
The case was adjourned until September 7, 2026, for further proceedings.
