Police, Federal University Strengthen Security Ties in Ogun.

The Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, CP Bode Ojajuni, on Wednesday,22nd of April,2026 received the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Medicine and Medical Sciences, Abeokuta, Prof. Fatiu Abiola Arogundade, alongside his management team at the Command Headquarters in Eleweran.
Following the report released by the Ogun State PPRO DSP Oluseyi B Babaseyi anipr, the visit centered on deepening collaboration between the Nigeria Police Force and academic institutions, with a focus on improving safety for students, staff, and critical infrastructure within the university community.
Both parties discussed proactive strategies to tackle security challenges, including enhanced intelligence sharing and coordinated efforts to prevent threats on campus.
CP Ojajuni commended the university leadership for the engagement, reiterating the Command’s commitment to maintaining a secure and peaceful environment that supports academic excellence across Ogun State.
